Mordialloc Motor Yacht Club is located on Lambert's Island in Mordialloc creek between the Nepean Highway bridge and the creek entrance to Port Phillip. Access is via a footbridge from the car park of the Bridge hotel. The Club has approximately 200 members of all ages.
New members are welcome and there is a variety of membership options to assist with joining the club. Prospective members are encouraged to contact the New Member Officer (see contact page) to discuss an application for membership and a tour of facilities. Member applications are displayed on the club’s notice board for one month, the application is then considered at the following committee meeting with member’s welcomed at the subsequent general meeting.

Senior (or full) members are entitled to all the privileges of the Club including voting rights at General Meetings. A member wishing to be allocated a mooring needs to be a senior or family member of the club.
Family membership consists of a Senior Member, his or her partner and their children under 18 years of age. Both adults shall have all of the privileges of a Senior Member save that only one adult member of a family shall have voting rights at any General meeting and only one member shall be entitled to a mooring.
HONORARY LIFE MEMBERS
Members who have completed substantial service in the encouragement of yachting, power boats or in promoting the interests of the Club, may, if recommended by the Committee, be elected honorary life members of the club at an AGM. Honorary life members shall be entitled to all the privileges of the Club including voting rights at General Meetings.
Social Members shall have most of the privileges of full members but will not be able to vote at general meetings and may not be appointed to positions as a Flag Officer, Honorary Secretary or Honorary Treasurer on the Committee. They will also be ineligible for mooring allocation. Some privileges, such as hall and slipway hire, may incur additional costs and/or conditions.
Crew Members shall have free access to club grounds and buildings and have other rights and privileges as determined by the Committee from time to time. They may not vote at general meetings and may not be appointed to positions as a Flag Officer, Honorary Secretary or Honorary Treasurer on the Committee.
Persons under the age of eighteen years, providing that they are not boat owners, may be admitted to the Club as Cadet Members, without payment of an entrance fee or annual subscription. All Cadet Memberships shall lapse at the annual meeting but such members, providing that they are still under eighteen, shall be eligible to renew their membership for the forthcoming year. The proposer of a Cadet Member shall be responsible for his or her behavior whilst a member of the Club. They may not vote or be a member of Committee.
Members overseas or interstate for a year or longer, on notification of their intended departure to the Secretary, may if the Club approves, be placed on the absentee list, whereupon they shall during their absence continue to be entitled to all their usual privileges and may request a reduction in their annual subscription.
