| Its been a bit of a slow news week, probably the result of having a few busy events around opening day. Thought it may be worth publishing a few shots from last weekend though. |
Nice Catch

| Up bright and early on Saturday, David was soon rewarded with a nice catch of just on 4.5kg By lunchtime, other fish from the same trip had been cooked and eaten onboard Bosslady. However just to prove he'd really caught it, David's prize was still in the fridge to view and will probably be there for a couple more days yet! |

The great spring weather on Sunday meant that many members were out on the water. A quick run not far from the pier and it was easy to find a lot of club boats out enjoying the conditions. |

At first glance you might think we've pulled up an old story from a few years back. But thinking of it, the Internet may not have even been invented last time this event took place?! No it's for real - and it happened on Sunday. Following a test lap of the Island the day before (only witnessed by a few) - Wayne gathered a crew together and headed down the creek to the delight of all those getting ready for Sunday's race. Looks like we've got an early starter for the Sail Past in a few weeks ! |
