We today received the following email from Parks Victoria:
This is a courtesy email to let you know that maintenance dredging works around Mordialloc Creek entrance, are planned to take place sometime next week, subject to suitable weather and beach conditions. A further update and notice to mariners will be published once we can confirm timing of the works.
If sufficient quantities of sand are available, it will be deposited along the southern end of the disposal area, or where it can provide benefit to the beach profile.
A notice to mariners for reduced depth at the Creek entrance will remain in force until depth can be restored.
Thank you for your ongoing support and interest in the maintenance dredging program.
Regards
Simon
