Cup Day 2021

Thankfully we had a perfect day for Cup Day, with the rain holding off until the next day. Jamie clearly has friends in high places. There were 65 members and guests who took part in the festivities. Thank you to all those people for their patience with the check-in procedures so that the Club complied with the current regulations.

Some lucky people won the five sweeps, and a few received their money back for having the last-placed horse. We had a select few who went to the effort of making crazy/fun hats. It proved the adage that it is quality not quantity that is important. The silent auction of the Peter Ferrier painting kindly donated by Deidre and Peter Riordan raised money for the Club. Many thanks to Deirdre and Peter for their generosity.
