Hi All,
Please be advised that there will be NO general meeting this month due to the meeting date falling on a Public holiday and unofficial long weekend.
The next meeting will be our Virtual Opening Day (mid-November). Stay tuned for date and details.
A reminder:
The club has set up a contact recording system, as required by law, using a QR Code. The code is available for scanning on entry on the club gate, or at the main entrance.
If you do not have the ability to scan the code a Log Book is available at the main entrance to record your visit.
Date, time in, first name and contact number and time out are all that is required.
If you are not familiar with the QR process you will need to download a QR Reader app to your phone.
Once you have scanned the code click/tap the link that it generates.
Enter your details and submit.
The system will remember your details for future visits when you scan the QR Code.
Note:
- There has been negative media attention to some overseas-based QR contact recording systems which ask for a lot of personal information and are reputed to be selling the data.
- The Victorian government is developing a system but until then MMYC is using a locally based system called COVIDTracer.
- This only wants your name and phone number as per government regulations.
- The data is kept for 28 days and then destroyed, again as per the regulation.
- If you are not comfortable with this, please use the Log Book by the front door. This never leaves the club premises.
