Urgent Message w/r to COVID restrictions and the Club

Contrary to the media beat-up, the much vaunted ‘Freedom Day’ did not include the opening up of the MMYC clubrooms and BBQ area.

In line with the latest Government interpretation of the current restrictions, obtained today, clubrooms or any other indoor area at a sporting club (except the toilets), are still closed. In fact, from the club perspective, there are very few changes from the previous requirements.

We are hopeful that the next set of changes, at the 80% vaccination target, will have a better outcome for the club and members.

Please be patient. We need to protect the club and our members by complying with Government restrictions. We will advise you when the restrictions change.
