New position holders

Subsequent to our request for volunteers last month, we are pleased to announce the following new position holders.

Mordialloc Sailing Club, Combined Racing and BBQ with MMYC

Every year Mordialloc Motor Yacht Club and Mordialloc Sailing Club alternate to race each other, socialise and build on our strong inter-club relationship. This year it was MSC’s turn to host us, so we swapped Sunday for Saturday and trailables for off-the-beach boats.

Cruise Lake Eildon - March 2022

Advice is given that Club member Garry Spencer is taking his boat to Lake Eildon, living on the water, fishing, touring and relaxing for a few weeks, and invites other Club members (and other boat owners) who would like to do the same in their boats, travelling together for all or part of the time, around the Lake, where this is desired.

Volunteer Painters

Derek advises that he has had an excellent response to his request for volunteers to paint the new water-sports storage building.

MSC THEFT

Overnight Wednesday night the fence to MSC was cut and 3 Paddle Boards stolen.

Update on COVID-19 Restrictions at MMYC as at 06 January 2022

As a result of the current increasing COVID case numbers and the increased transmissibility of the new variant, the Victorian Government has issued the following regulation. ‘From 11.59pm tonight, Thursday 6th January 2022 all Victorians aged 8 and up are subject to density limits of 1 person per 2 square metres in all indoor hospitality settings.’
