The Andrews Labor Government has released its Victorian Recreational Boating Strategy, setting the vision for boating investment and infrastructure until 2030.
The weather may have been gloomy, but this year’s Christmas celebrations were anything but. Ninety adults and 20 children enjoyed the festivities with music by the Dene Ford trio, face painting and balloon shapes for the children, and dinner provided by the Wicked Spud.
This is to advise that the Sutton Lounge will be reopening this coming Friday night, the 26th of November 2021 at 6:30 pm.
Drinks at less than pub prices and snacks provided.
Next week our club is hosting a Responsible Service of Alcohol Course and this course is available to all our members. The course is run by Good Sports at our club and is open to all local sports clubs.
This is an accredited course and is available to our club at a discounted rate due to our membership with Good Sports. Members who attend this course can be reimbursed if you commit to volunteering at a few events throughout the year (many hands make light work!).
All members are invited to the November 2021 Monthly Meeting to be held at the Clubrooms on November 9, 2021 at 7:30 PM sharp.
Attendance by Zoom will also be available.

In line with the latest Government interpretation of the current restrictions, obtained today, clubrooms or any other indoor area at a sporting club (except the toilets), are still closed.
We have an indicative date of November 5 that we can get back to competitive sport, i.e. racing.
So, fingers crossed, from Sunday Nov 7 to Thursday Dec 16 we will be having a points race every Thursday and Sunday to make up for some lost time.
